Biography

I’m a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh. My research involves using mathematical and numerical models to understand oceanic fluid dynamics. In particular, I’m interested in the interactions of internal waves and submesoscale vortices that are generated in the deep and upper ocean.

I recently completed my PhD at Imperial College London, working with Dr Ali Mashayek as part of the Centre for Doctoral Training in Mathematics of Planet Earth and the Grantham Institute’s Science and Solutions for a Changing Planet Doctoral Training Partnership.
